US President Donald Trump advised Spain to build a wall through the Sahara to stop the migrant flow, Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Borrell revealed.
Spain has a massive problem with immigration since its socialist government ‘invited’ migrants to come to the country. As a result the number of arrivals has tripled.
Josep Borrell said that Trump said Spain should “Just build a wall that borders the Sahara” to stop migrants from coming. “But do you know how big the Sahara is?,” Borrell asked the US President.
“The Sahara border can’t be bigger than our border with Mexico,” Trump said according to Borrell.
Spain’s Foreign Ministry refused to give any more details on the conversation or when it took place, but an option is in June this year when the minister accompanied Spain’s King and Queen to the White House.
