At Night.). So let’s switch it up and laugh at them. Dennis Miller, whose reference game can’t be touched, had a hysterical analogy for liberalism. On Jimmy Kimmel Live to boot!

“Like I said, socially liberal- and that’s what I don’t dig with what the conservatives do. They always come off like the town elders from Footloose and that’s a drag to me. But I look at liberals sometimes and I think liberalism is like a nude beach. It sounds good until you get there… and there’s a lot of cankles and misspelled tattoos.”

Plus, the people who go to nude beaches are people you’d never want to see naked. See also modern third wave feminists. Or maybe it should be “don’t see.” No one should see that. No one at all.

The analogy works on so many levels.

Here’s what else works: a little tolerance throwback to the days before 2015, when liberals and conservatives could shelve a few topics and still hang out with each other, sans vitriol, sans hate, sans shaming, sans smelly t-shirts sold for 200 bucks a pop because. It used to be a thing. But hey, so long as Antifa is banging down doors, and other leftists are excusing it… we’ll just have to remember the days of yore.
