The police admit there is no law in Florida which states how old a child must be to walk to a nearby park alone. Prosecutors state there is no law governing such behavior. Yet, Officers snatched young Dominic from the park, took the boy home where police arrested Nicole Gainey and charged her with felony child neglect. The police said they cited her because there are known sex offenders in the area. Gainey was forced to post a $4,000 bond. Now an innocent mom must fight to stay out of prison. Any bets on how long it will be until CPS rears their ugly head.
In a police state, there are no rules, the authorities simply make them up as they go along. Welcome to police state America.
