A former American intelligence linguist says US deadly drone attacks will continue in Yemen as long as the puppet governments that Americans and the British have set up there continue to exist.
Å“The strategy for US drones in Yemen and elsewhere is unfortunately a common practice which has been going on for decades now,” said Scott Rickard in an interview with Press TVâ„¢s US Desk on Tuesday.
He made the remarks as at least two people lost their lives in the southern province of Shabwa on Monday in the latest such strikes.
Å“Itâ„¢s important to understand that America and its allies as well as the British have been supporting Saudi Arabia and its efforts to continually combat the southern Arabian Peninsula tribes,” Rickard said.
He went on to add that this scenario has been going on Å“since the Americans and the British helped develop the oil assets in Saudi Arabia.”
Å“CIA, which has been operating in Yemen with impunity for decades and continues to operate with impunity, has several people in the area that have continuously subverted the entire government of Yemen. Most of the representatives in government are puppets of the West.”
Rickard concluded that people in Yemen are aware of what is going on in their country and have always been trying to confront the Saudis and Yemeni Å“puppet governments.”
