US President Barack Obama is responsible for murdering foreign nationals via the use of assassination drones, Press TV reports.
Å“In the process of murdering one individual who has been targeted as a supposed terrorist, often times other individuals are killed who are not even connected in any way, shape or form with terrorist activities,” said Saul Landau, the vice chair of the Institute for Policy Studies in California.
Landau went on to call Å“Obama…all people who operate drones” murderers that violate international and domestic laws including due process.
Å“There is no indictment of these people. There is no judicial process. It’s simply a pattern where the president of the United States decides to murder certain people,” the analyst said.

On May 2, the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) called for a global freeze on the use of fully or semi-autonomous weapons including drones and robots until an international forum can establish rules for their use.
Washington has been criticized for its drone strikes as casualty figures clearly indicate that civilians are the main victims.
The analyst further pointed out the hypocrisy in US drone strikes, positing, Å“How would the United States feel if somebody carried out a drone strike against the people in Las Vegas, Nevada who are ordering the drone strikes against other countries?”
