Mankind has now the greatest challenge of his existence. And I don't say this lightly. His technological achievements has brought him to 2005 were shear population numbers and his addiction to Fossil Fuels to run his technology is tipping the O2 and Co2 balance. Have the effects started? Will we be aware when the effects do start? How much time do we have till the effects do start? What are the effects?

Global Warming – Tipping the CO2 scales

Many of us, have felt change, The levels of Co2 are rising with no real prospects of being reduced in the for see-able future. Our planets atmospheric gas balance is being changed by our processes which created our civilization, we are effectively dirtying our own water in our goldfish bowl we call earth. No were to go, if the Greenhouse Effect, starts running away with itself. After all, that is why Venus (earth's twin) has no life.

A chilling thought (excuse the pun) but ice ages happen naturally, but the climate effects we all know, are ice age triggers, the working mechanisms of the earth which give our climate, that we all know and love, are changing now. An ice age would stop dead western civilization, our way of life. Can we afford now not to act, a campaign bigger than the World War 2 efforts, are needed. Not tomorrow, now!

I personally do not want to wait for our governments to save our way of living. We can't afford to realise that our politicians have let us down again. We must all act on an individual basis, sacrifices have to be made by all humans. Now is the time demand a cleaner, more environmentally way of life for the whole human race. As consumers in nature, Humans need to demand from our manufacturers cleaner technologies. Nature created us, so to live WITH nature, we must protect it from our indulgences.

It took 2 billion years for microbial life to create our O2 rich atmosphere from a Co2 rich atmosphere, and in only 200 years we have managed to tip the balance. Your car is simply a gas converting machine, changing 0xygen into Carbon Dioxide and other poisons.

What can you do? A simple thing, like solar panels on your roof, for only the cost of a cheap car Japanese car. Become energy self sufficient. Start tipping the balance back in our own homes and consumer habits, Oxygen friendly needs to be our goal. An Environmentally friendly civilization we must become, and Fast……The technology is available, it just takes you the consumer to demand it.

The challenge of civilization is won, the challenge of keeping it has just begun.
