But most webmasters don&#8217;t look into this method of promotion because they think that it is difficult and time consuming.<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">The fact is, article marketing is probably the<strong> cheapest and fastest<\/strong> way to get free targeted visitors to your blog or website.<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p><strong>Step 1.<\/strong> Keyword Research<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">To start off your article marketing campaign, effective keyword research is a must. If you are after a specific niche, then the keywords you are after are probably researched already.<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">If you have no idea how to do keyword research, don&#8217;t be afraid, <a title=\"Keyword Research\" href=\"http:\/\/www.articlemarketinghq.com\/category\/keyword-research\">here<\/a> is the perfect place to learn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Some tools to help you get started:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"clear: both;\">\n<li><a title=\"Google's Keyword Tool\" href=\"https:\/\/adwords.google.com\/select\/KeywordToolExternal\">Google Keyword Tool<\/a> (One of the Must-Use of any online marketer)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Micro Niche Finder\" href=\"http:\/\/www.micronichefinder.com\/index.htm\">Micro Niche Finder<\/a> (My personal favorite, because it tells you exactly whether the keyword is good or not)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Market Samurai Market Analysis Software\" href=\"http:\/\/www.marketsamurai.com\/\">Market Samurai<\/a> (Another pretty cool market research program, and a bunch of other functions)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Make sure the keyword you are after isn&#8217;t too generic, (example: dogs) because there will be an impossible amount of competition and the traffic you receive will not be as targeted. A good keyword should be 3-5 words, and has a moderate amount of competition. ( You don&#8217;t want there to be no competition as that will probably mean, the keyword isn&#8217;t good)<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p>Step 2. Writing the Article<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Once you know which keyword you are after, then it is time to write the article.<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Your first option would be to write the article yourself. This might take a while, and the result might not be optimal, but it will be the cheapest way to produce a quality article<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Here are some of my favorite tools to help me write an article:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"clear: both;\">\n<li><a title=\"Instant Article Factory\" href=\"http:\/\/www.instantarticlefactory.com\">Instant Article Factory<\/a> (Writes high quality articles in 5 minutes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Another option would be to outsource the writing part to a freelancer. This option is the way to go once your business takes off, or you need a lot of high-quality articles but you are too lazy, or find it too big of a challenge to do so.<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Some places to look for cheap yet high-quality writers:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"clear: both;\">\n<li><a title=\"Craigslist Philippines Writing Services\" href=\"http:\/\/manila.craigslist.com.ph\/wet\/\">Craigslist Philippines<\/a> (The cheapest place to find quality writers)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Elance\" href=\"http:\/\/www.elance.com\/\">Elance<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Freelancer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.freelancer.com\/\">Freelancer<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"DigitalPoint Content Creation Board\" href=\"http:\/\/forums.digitalpoint.com\/forumdisplay.php?f=102\">DigitalPoint<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Read more about how to easily write high quality articles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p>Step 3. Submitting the Article<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">This is probably the easiest thing to do, just paste the article to your browser and press submit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Here are some good High-PR (PageRank) article directories:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"clear: both;\">\n<li><a title=\"EzineArticles\" href=\"http:\/\/ezinearticles.com\/\">EzineArticles<\/a> (PR 6)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Helium\" href=\"http:\/\/www.helium.com\/\">Helium<\/a> (PR 6)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Articles Base\" href=\"http:\/\/www.articlesbase.com\/\">ArticlesBase<\/a> (PR 6)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Article Dashboard\" href=\"http:\/\/www.articledashboard.com\/\">Article Dashboard<\/a> (PR 5)<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"GoArticles\" href=\"http:\/\/www.goarticles.com\/\">GoArticles<\/a> (PR 4)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Make sure you include a resource box with your website address in it, so that it can help drive traffic and link juice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">\n<p>Step 4. Article Promotion<\/p>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">Now it is time to promote your article. It would be a huge waste of time if you went through all the trouble and not promote your articles. The first thing you should do is submit it to social bookmarking sites like:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"clear: both;\">\n<li><a title=\"Digg\" href=\"http:\/\/digg.com\/\">Digg<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Reddit\" href=\"http:\/\/www.reddit.com\/\">Reddit<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"SlashDot\" href=\"http:\/\/slashdot.org\/\">Slashdot<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"clear: both;\">If your article is well written, and has an attractive title, then it could end up on the front page of these sites&#8230; The result? Thousands and thousands of traffic to your article, and in turn to your website.
