Public becomes more aware of government\u2019s constant lies and contradictions<\/p>\n
Julie Wilson<\/strong><\/p>\n There is one war the American people are winning, and that\u2019s the info war.<\/p>\n Government and the mainstream media have lost all credibility, leaving opportunity for the alternative media to swoop in and expose the truth, waking up viewers across the globe.<\/p>\n The continued unraveling of government scandals backed up by a clearly biased mainstream media narrative has Americans fed up and unwilling to consent to another war.<\/p>\n Nearly a month ago to the day, Infowars reported<\/a> the \u201cDepartment of Defense announced plans to increase its public affairs efforts due to the devastating effect independent media is having on the Pentagon\u2019s ability to control its news, more specifically, its ability to quash negative news stories before they go viral.\u201d<\/p>\n The DoD specifically placed blame on DrudgeReport.com<\/a> and citizen journalists, as being the reason for no longer have the people\u2019s support.<\/p>\n \u201cThe public is more quickly becoming aware of the constant patterns of contradictions and habitual lying by a government long ago captured by a group of corrupt interests,\u201d said Infowars.<\/p>\n Alex Jones has joined forces with Anthony Gucciardi\u2019s Storyleak in an attempt to expand the alternative media reach.<\/p>\n Secretary of defense for public affairs admitted \u201c..we cannot hide our bad news stories. Bad news gets out one way or the other and we must come to terms with telling bad stories as well as the good.\u201d<\/p>\n During a white House briefing<\/a>, Deputy Press Secretary Josh Earnest, desperately tried to convince the public of the need for war with Syria. Earnest reiterated the importance of the U.S. need to respond to the use of chemical weapons in order to \u201cenforce a critically international norm.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt is not OK for totalitarian dictators to flout chemical weapons with impunity,\u201d said Earnest.<\/p>\n \u201cThe global community wants this norm enforced,\u201d said Earnest. He failed to mention however, the U.S. murder of innocent men, women and children via drone strikes is acceptable, but the alleged use of chemical weapons against civilians by Assad is not.<\/p>\n Of course that comparison can\u2019t truly be made because the West and it\u2019s allies are responsible for the chemical weapons attack, not Assad.<\/p>\n When asked if Obama planned to obtain a vote from Congress to authorize an attack on Syria, Earnest said the President will seek \u201crobust congressional consultation\u201d and will act to \u201cprotect international normals against weapons of mass destruction.\u201d<\/p>\n Earnest rejected comparisons of an attack on Syria to the invasion of Iraq, persisting it\u2019s not the goal of the U.S. to change Syria\u2019s regime, such as it was in Iraq.<\/p>\n The Deputy Press Secretary maintained an attack on Syria would be \u201climited and discrete.\u201d He also said the U.S. government does not believe they need to wait for the U.N. chemical weapons team to complete their investigation because they already know Assad is responsible and any other details are irrelevant.<\/p>\n Reporters in attendance to the White House briefing were noticeably pushing hard for more information, calling the government\u2019s so-called \u201cproof\u201d merely circumstantial evidence.<\/p>\n Reporters asked whether the U.S. government intends to release the remaining proof they allegedly have, but Earnest shut down citing the information as classified and expressed his inability to speak on it.<\/p>\n He told reporters the classified information needed to be withheld due to national security threats. But reporters kept pushing, asking if the Obama administration really believes Assad\u2019s use of chemical weapons is a \u201cdirect imminent threat to the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAssad\u2019s willingness to use chemical weapons endangers the global community,\u201d said Earnest.<\/p>\n The public\u2019s growing skepticism of the governments\u2019 narrative can only be attributed to the explosive growth of alternative media.<\/p>\n
