Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has stressed the importance of replacing the current cruel and inhumane global system with a divine world order.\n<\/p>\n
In a Sunday speech at a special event organized by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting to honor his administration\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s achievements over the past eight years, Ahmadinejad said a strong Iran can be influential in international relations.\n<\/p>\n
\u00c5\u201cBy relying on a strong Iran, the flag of divine values can be raised in the world and a divine and human order can replace the current cruel one,\u201d the president stated, adding, \u00c5\u201cWe seek a great development and an ideal government \u2026 [because] the [Islamic] establishment, the government and the Islamic Revolution are meaningless without divine and human ideals.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The president emphasized that great developments require strong divine and human bases and warned that if opportunities are not used properly they become threats.<\/p>\n
He noted that Iran must be strong and developed in all fields \u00c5\u201cbecause a weak country can never spread divine values in the world.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
Ahmadinejad pointed out that arrogant powers and enemies of the Iranian nation have made every effort to hinder the country\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s progress.\n<\/p>\n
\u00c5\u201cNow that the country\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s scientists have obtained this [nuclear] know-how, they [arrogant powers] can never prevent its continuation in our country,\u201d he added.\n<\/p>\n
The Iranian president said the capitalist system has spread discrimination and injustice in the world while giving opportunities, wealth and economic activities to a certain group of people.\n<\/p>\n
Ahmadinejad is scheduled to hand over the presidency to Hassan Rohani in early August.\n<\/p>\n
