Dangerous dogs
\n are becoming more of a problem in parts of north St. Louis County.
\n It\u2019s so bad, some people say they\u2019re afraid to go out
\n for a morning jog, reports<\/a>
\n CBS St Louis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Resident
\n Carolyn Immer says she was attack and now has a hole in her leg.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI
\n felt like I was out in the middle of nowhere and there was nobody
\n around to help,\u201d Immer says. \u201cI was screaming for a
\n long time \u2013 it seemed like a long time lets put it that way.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another resident
\n Faye Turner says she and her sister-in-law have had several encounters
\n with loose dogs.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe
\n actually went behind someone\u2019s house, that we don\u2019t
\n know, trying to get away from the animal, but they continued to
\n follow us,\u201d Turner says. \u201cWe called my husband and he
\n picked us up, that\u2019s the way we were able to get away.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Turner says
\n they don\u2019t go walking anymore.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another
\n woman complained that she had called County Animal Control about
\n a couple of pit bulls who followed her around outside, but nothing
\n was done.<\/span><\/p>\n

At a town
\n hall meeting Thursday evening, County Animal Control recommended
\n people go out walking with an umbrella, a cane, or a stick.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
