Many of the items that were purchased and approved may astound you. IRS employees used their credit card to purchase $119 worth of Nerf footballs that were intended to be used for a \u201cteam-building exercise.\u201d As if that wasn\u2019t bad enough, they never used the balls, which are \u201ccurrently stored in a filing cabinet\u201d somewhere in the bowels of the IRS.
