British MP and founder of the Respect Party George Galloway has slammed the G8 summit agenda, saying they are \u00c5\u201cmasters of tax avoidance and evasion\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
Galloway\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s comments came on an interview during an anti-G8 event as he explained why he opposes the G8\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s agenda, while also giving his opinion on the recent Bilderberg meeting.\n<\/p>\n
\u00c5\u201cIt\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s not their [G8] presence that I\u00e2\u201e\u00a2m opposed to. It\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s the agenda that they\u00e2\u201e\u00a2re following. They say that it\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s going to be about tax, trade and transparency,\u201d Galloway said in the interview, adding, \u00c5\u201cThey are the masters of tax avoidance and evasion. They are the masters of some of the most notorious tax havens and shelters in the world\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
When asked about the recent secretive Bilderberg meeting that took place earlier this month in Watford, North-west London, Galloway agreed that if there was public money spent, there should have been transparency for the people of Britain to know what was done or said in the meeting.\n<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Prime Minister David Cameron faced criticism for breaking his promise to lead a transparent government, after he refused to reveal what had been discussed at the shadowy Bilderberg meeting.\n<\/p>\n
