Ron Paul explained that he was concerned about the well-being of National Security Agency whistle-blower Edward Snowden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m worried about somebody in our government might kill him with a cruise missile or a drone missile,\u201d Paul explained. \u201cI mean we live in a bad time where American citizens don\u2019t even have rights and that they can be killed, but the gentlemen is trying to tell the truth about what\u2019s going on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paul added that there were no signs of Snowden defecting to a foreign country, which meant that he was not really a threat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a shame that we are in an age where people who tell the truth about what the government is doing gets into trouble,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During an interview with FOX Business, former Rep.
