However, with trust in politicians at such a low, critics argue that if politicians want to regain credibility they should hand over profits made to the Treasury.<\/p>\n<p>The revelations have caused outrage on social media with many claiming it\u2019s symptomatic of the broken politics that has enveloped Brexit Britain, with politicians out of touch with the public.<\/p>\n<p>One Twitter user insisted <em>\u201cthis is backdoor taxpayers money robbery.\u201d<\/em> Another insisted <em>\u201cthey vote to screw the ordinary people but exempt themselves every time!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"rtcode\"><center><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Apparently legally?
