Co-founder of environmental organization Greenpeace Patrick Moore said Tuesday that the climate change crisis driving much of liberal politics today \u201cis not only fake news. It\u2019s fake science.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moore also wondered during his appearance\u00a0on \u201cFox & Friends<\/a>\u201d why people would be worried about global warming: \u201cA little bit of warming would not be a bad thing, for myself being Canadian.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moore bounced back into the climate change debate last week in an\u00a0online feud<\/a>\u00a0with New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after he blasted her Green New Deal for being not ambitious but ridiculous.<\/p>\n

\n<\/span>\u201cWell, it\u2019s a silly plan; that\u2019s why I suggested she was a pompous little twit, twit meaning silly in the British lexicon,\u201d Moore told Fox, adding, \u201cShe really rubbed me the wrong way when she said\u00a0she\u2019s \u2018the boss<\/a>\u2019 because she can make up a proposal that\u2019s completely ridiculous, and nobody else did.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moore, who now sits as a director on the\u00a0CO2 Coalition<\/a>, a group of American and Canadian scientists who refute man-made climate change, says carbon dioxide is \u201cthe main building block of all life\u201d and that it is good for the environment. \u201cThere is nothing to be afraid of.\u201d<\/p>\n

He doesn\u2019t deny climate change. \u201cOf course climate change is real: it\u2019s been happening since the beginning of time but it\u2019s not dangerous and it\u2019s not created by people \u2026 a completely natural phenomenon.\u201d<\/p>\n
