{"id":395348,"date":"2019-02-06T17:20:17","date_gmt":"2019-02-06T16:20:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/newswire\/cnn-fact-check-with-no-views\/"},"modified":"2019-02-06T17:20:17","modified_gmt":"2019-02-06T16:20:17","slug":"cnn-fact-check-with-no-views","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/newswire\/cnn-fact-check-with-no-views\/","title":{"rendered":"CNN Fact Check With No Views"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>      <!-- START CONTENT --><\/p>\n<p>Google caught manipulating its algorithm again<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paul Joseph Watson<\/strong><br \/>PrisonPlanet.com<br \/>February 6, 2019 <!-- NO_ADS_IN_ARTICLE --><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.prisonplanet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/060219yt1.jpg\" alt=\"null\"\/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Following President Trump\u2019s State of the Union address, the top search result on YouTube was a CNN \u2018fact check\u2019 that had no views, proving once again how Google is manipulating its algorithm for partisan ends.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The top result when a user searched for \u201cstate of the union 2019\u201d shortly after the speech ended was a CNN \u201creality check\u201d that was listed as having \u201cno views\u201d. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.prisonplanet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/state-of-the-union-2019-youtube-results-1.jpg\" alt=\"null\"\/><\/p>\n<p>As Chris Menahan <a href=\"http:\/\/www.informationliberation.com\/?id=59778\">documents<\/a>, other results are also completely bias against Trump, despite garnering few views;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The \u201cinfo box\u201d at the very top features an off-site link to CBS News.<\/p>\n<p>The second result, over Trump\u2019s speech, is Stacey Abrams\u2019 response from CNN\u2019s channel.<\/p>\n<p>The third response is Trump\u2019s speech from \u2014 who else \u2014 CNN!<\/p>\n<p>You have to scroll down to slot 13 and 14 to get the most popular streams from ABC News (505k views) and Fox News (292k views).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.prisonplanet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/cnn-top-search-result-for-state-of-the-union-2019-2-1.jpg\" alt=\"null\"\/><\/p>\n<p>According to an official statement, \u201cGoogle has never manipulated or modified the search results or content in any of its products to promote a particular political ideology.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>However, as we <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infowars.com\/youtube-broke-its-own-search-engine-to-rig-the-system-for-the-corporate-media\/\">documented<\/a> last week, YouTube broke its own search engine to ensure that corporate media videos rank higher than those made by independent creators, even when exact search terms are used and the independent videos have millions more views.<\/p>\n<p>The Silicon Valley giant also deliberately <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2019\/01\/16\/google-youtube-search-blacklist-smoking-gun\/\">changed rankings of search results<\/a> relating to abortion after a Slate writer complained.
