It is snowing in Washington DC this Sunday and President Donald Trump \u2014 who earlier today talked about the \u201cbeauty and majesty\u201d of the White House<\/a> in the snow \u2014 took to Twitter to poke at one of his perennial foes, Jeff Bezos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cSo sorry to hear the news about Jeff Bozo being taken down by a competitor whose reporting, I understand, is far more accurate than the reporting in his lobbyist newspaper, the Amazon Washington Post,\u201d Trump opined leaving it unclear if \u2018Bozo\u2019 was a typo or an intentional insult. \u201cHopefully the paper will soon be placed in better & more responsible hands!\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump is apparently referring to a months-long investigation conducted by the National Enquirer into Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon and owner of the Washington Post<\/em>.<\/p>\n

CNN reported<\/a> on the investigation that resulted in a blaring headline on the Enquirer\u2019s\u00a0cover about the cheating photos that allegedly ended Bezos\u2019 marriage:<\/p>\n

The Enquirer said it had been investigating Bezos for four months, tracking the Amazon CEO \u201cacross five states and 40,000 miles.\u201d The tabloid said it had evidence that Bezos has been \u201cwhisking his mistress off to exotic destinations on his $65 million private jet.\u201d
The Enquirer and other outlets\u00a0<\/strong>identified the woman as Lauren Sanchez, a former anchor for Fox\u2019s local station in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
