{"id":388723,"date":"2018-12-11T14:56:13","date_gmt":"2018-12-11T13:56:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/newswire\/former-obama-officials-say-trump-should-removed-from-office-stripped-of-citizenship-jailed\/"},"modified":"2018-12-11T14:56:13","modified_gmt":"2018-12-11T13:56:13","slug":"former-obama-officials-say-trump-should-removed-from-office-stripped-of-citizenship-jailed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/newswire\/former-obama-officials-say-trump-should-removed-from-office-stripped-of-citizenship-jailed\/","title":{"rendered":"Former Obama Officials Say Trump Should Removed From Office, Stripped Of Citizenship, Jailed"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>      <!-- START CONTENT --><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cHe\u2019s got to know his future looks like it\u2019s behind bars\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Steve Watson<\/strong><br \/>Prison Planet.com<br \/>December 11, 2018<\/p>\n<p><strong>Two former Obama officials devised fantasy scenarios in separate appearances on CNN and MSNBC Monday, suggesting that President Trump should be removed from office and jailed, and even stripped of his citizenship.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Appearing on CNN\u2019s <em>New Day<\/em>, former acting solicitor general\u00a0under Obama, Neal Katyal claimed that Michael Cohen\u2019s alleged campaign finance violations, and an alleged $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels mean that Trump could be subject to \u201cstrong criminal liability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the fact that there is no evidence at all that Trump was involved, and that Cohen\u2019s credibility is non-existent, Katyal still claimed Trump could be thrown in jail.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrump knows he\u2019s facing some pretty strong criminal liability when he leaves office, one way or another,\u201d Katyal said, adding \u201cEven if a sitting president can\u2019t be indicted, he\u2019s got to know his future looks like it\u2019s behind bars unless he cuts some sort of deal with the prosecutors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9iZtIJVTkog\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Katyal is either painfully deluded or purposefully pushing a narrative in an attempt to obstruct Trump. He worked under Obama, whose 2008 campaign<a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2013\/01\/obama-2008-campaign-fined-375000-085784\"> was fined $375,000 by the Federal Election Commission<\/a> for campaign reporting violations.<\/p>\n<p>No one was criminally indicted.
