NYC enjoys first shooting-free weekend in decades<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He alleges police clubbed him with a baton, kicked him and maced him despite his compliance with their verbal commands. <em>\u201cI hope this level of transparency will highlight, the need for reform,\u201d<\/em> he added.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The lengthy footage from the police perspective of the Christmas Eve clash in 2014 shows St. Louis cops bragging about kicking, clubbing and macing people.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI went through a whole can of mace,\u201d <\/em>Anderer tells another cop.<em> \u201cI had a couple of little good kicks.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOne of the f**king white bi**hes caught me spraying everybody, so she\u2019s on my ass. I\u2019m hiding back here for a little bit,\u201d <\/em>Anderer is heard saying in the footage.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis is a terrible place to fight people. Look at all these f**king lights and everything else.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The protests took place just hours after a Berkeley police officer fatally shot teenager Antonio Martin, claiming self defense.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred just four months after the shooting dead of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, just four miles away.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/news\/437424-bulletproof-backpack-us-schools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">READ MORE:\u00a0Battleground school: Israeli company makes bulletproof backpacks for US market (VIDEO)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Franks was part of a protest group called the Peacekeepers, who went to de-escalate the situation. However, he was arrested when he tried to intervene in a fellow Peacekeeper\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSome guy was kneeling down&#8230; and I still kicked him like there was no tomorrow,\u201d <\/em>Steinmeyer can be heard saying.<em> \u201cI f**king kicked him like there was no f**king tomorrow.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe can confirm that some of our police officers were involved in the protest shown in the video from four years ago in December of 2014,\u201d<\/em> St. Louis County police said in a statement.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The protest turned violent, and subjects were taken into custody. Any use of force that occurred was documented and internal investigations were conducted as part of that review. We can not further comment on the actions taken by officers that night due to pending litigation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Both Officer Steinmeyer and Officer Owens remain on the force.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Like this story?
