Trump\u2019s decision to force Sessions\u2019 resignation aims to obstruct Mueller\u2019s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.<\/p>\n<p>Protests will occur in cities and towns to demand that Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker \u2013 Sessions\u2019 former chief of staff \u2013 recuse himself from overseeing the Mueller investigation based on his past public comments criticizing the legitimacy of the probe.
