Outspoken conservative actor James Woods was\u00a0suspended from posting to Twitter over a two-month-old satirical\u00a0meme which very clearly parodies a Democratic advertisement campaign. While the actor\u2019s tweets are still visible, he is unable to post new content.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The offending tweet\u00a0from July 20,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0features\u00a0three millennial-aged men with \u201cnu-male smiles<\/a>\u201d and text that reads \u201cWe\u2019re making a Woman\u2019s Vote Worth\u00a0more<\/u>\u00a0by staying home<\/strong>.\u201d Above it, Woods writes \u201cPretty scary that there is a distinct possibility this could be real. Not likely, but in this day and age of absolute liberal insanity, it is at least possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to screenshots provided by an\u00a0associate of Woods\u2019, Twitter directed the actor to delete the post on the grounds that it contained \u201ctext and imagery that has the potential to be misleading in a way that could impact an election.<\/u><\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

In other words, James Woods, who has approximately 1.72 million followers,\u00a0was suspended because liberals who don\u2019t identify as women<\/strong>\u00a0might actually take the meme seriously and not vote.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a statement released through associate Sara Miller, Woods said \u201cYou are a coward, @Jack<\/strong>,\u201d referring to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. \u201cThere is no free speech for Conservatives on @Twitter<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n
