I love that part,\u201d<\/em> DeSantis tells the bored-looking baby, while pretending to read from the book.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"media__youtube-frame\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300px\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2BYgM7yWgkY\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>DeSantis, who currently represents Florida\u2019s 6th Congressional district in the House, is a loyal Trump supporter and has been described by the president as a <em>\u201cwarrior\u201d<\/em> for his commitment. The ad describes him as a <em>\u201cpitbull Trump defender.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Later in the clip, DeSantis is seen teaching his daughter how to read the 2016 Trump campaign slogan <em>\u201cMake America Great Again\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Casey DeSantis appears again at the end to say that while people might assume her husband is <em>\u201call Trump\u201d<\/em> all the time, in reality he is <em>\u201cso much more\u201d<\/em> than that. <em>\u201cI just thought you should know,\u201d<\/em> she adds.<\/p>\n<p>As might be expected, there was considerable dispute in the YouTube comments under the video about whether the ad was the best or the worst one ever made.<\/p>\n<p>While some supporters described the ad as <em>\u201cthe best commercial of 2018\u201d<\/em> and the <em>\u201cgreatest ad of all time\u201d<\/em>, others called it <em>\u201ctotally insane,\u201d \u201cunbelievably creepy\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201cthe most revolting display of sycophancy ever recorded.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/usa\/434765-desantis-campaign-video-kids\/?utm_source=rss&#038;utm_medium=rss&#038;utm_campaign=RSS\">RT<\/a>.
