He&#8217;s a gambler, he is an investor. He\u2019s not interested in the welfare of the British or European public. He is interested in making money and if anyone can\u2019t see that I wonder what is wrong with them.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt seems very obvious to me and it seems very obvious to those with a bit of common sense.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/b09HD3zR0Qw\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Coburn&#8217;s comments came on the same day US-Hungarian Soros said he would be backing pro-EU campaign group Best for Britain\u2019s efforts to hold a second referendum. The vote would be between any final Brexit deal hammered out with Brussels and staying in the EU under current terms.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking during a summit organized by the European Council of Foreign Relations think tank, the financier said: \u201c<em>Ultimately it\u2019s up to the British people to decide what they want to do. It would be better, however, if they came to a decision sooner rather than later.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThat\u2019s the goal of an initiative called the \u2018Best for Britain,\u2019 which I support. Best for Britain fought for, and helped to win, a meaningful parliamentary vote which includes the option of not leaving at all.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis would be good for Britain but would also render Europe a great service by rescinding Brexit and not creating a hard-to-fill hole in the European budget.
