{"id":362790,"date":"2018-05-25T19:30:07","date_gmt":"2018-05-25T18:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/newswire\/generation-identity-uk-co-leader-fired-from-job-after-smear-campaign\/"},"modified":"2018-05-25T19:30:07","modified_gmt":"2018-05-25T18:30:07","slug":"generation-identity-uk-co-leader-fired-from-job-after-smear-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/newswire\/generation-identity-uk-co-leader-fired-from-job-after-smear-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Generation Identity UK Co-Leader Fired from Job After Smear Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"\">\n<p><a href=\"red-ice-tv\/identitarian-movement-under-attack-by-austrian-government\" target=\"_blank\">Generation Identity<\/a> (GI) UK co-leader Tom Dupr\u00e9 was fired from his banking position at the City of London firm Standard Chartered earlier this week following a campaign by far-left activist group HOPE not Hate (HnH).<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Dupr\u00e9, who has been co-leader of the UK branch of the Identitarian movement, was found in breach of Standard Chartered\u2019s internal diversity policies following a number of articles in the mainstream media that cited a report from the far-left activist group,\u00a0<em>City A.M.<\/em>\u00a0reports.<\/p>\n<p>The 23-year-old, who joined the Identitarian movement in December, told Breitbart London that he had initially\u00a0been suspended and was waiting for a review of his case after HnH initially released a report on the UK Identitarian movement entitled \u201cA New Threat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following the initial report, Dupr\u00e9 said that HnH senior researcher Dr. Joe Mulhall had emailed and made at least one telephone call to Standard Chartered in order to get him fired for his anti-mass migration and anti-Islamisation political views, claiming that they were a violation of the company\u2019s diversity policies.<\/p>\n<p>Mulhall, who has previously tweeted out to Twitter accounts of the violent far-left extremist Antifa movement\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JoeMulhall_\/status\/555305365345435648\" target=\"_blank\">asking their \u201cthoughts\u201d<\/a>\u00a0on work he has produced for HnH, was also featured in a recent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.co.uk\/article\/the-hipster-fascists-breathing-new-life-into-the-british-far-right-6hvtmq63k\" target=\"_blank\">high-profile article<\/a>\u00a0about the Identitarians and\u00a0Dupr\u00e9 published in\u00a0<em>The<\/em>\u00a0<em>Sunday Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In the article, Mulhall claimed that GI was\u00a0\u201cmuch more extreme than people think and more extreme&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/redice.tv\/news\/generation-identity-uk-co-leader-fired-from-job-after-smear-campaign\">Read more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Generation Identity (GI) UK co-leader Tom Dupr\u00e9 was fired from his banking position at the City of London firm Standard Chartered earlier this week following a campaign by far-left activist group HOPE not Hate (HnH).
