{"id":35960,"date":"2013-05-24T18:59:45","date_gmt":"2013-05-24T17:59:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/breaking-news\/massachusetts-teen-remains-in-custody-2\/35960\/"},"modified":"2013-05-24T18:59:45","modified_gmt":"2013-05-24T17:59:45","slug":"massachusetts-teen-remains-in-custody-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/breaking-news\/massachusetts-teen-remains-in-custody-2\/","title":{"rendered":"&#039;Massachusetts teen remains in custody&#039;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An 18-year-old boy arrested for making \u00cb\u0153terror threats\u00e2\u201e\u00a2 through his Facebook posts about the recent bombings in the US city of Boston remains in custody pending payment of USD 1 million bail.\n<\/p>\n<p>The teen, identified as Cameron D\u00e2\u201e\u00a2Ambrosio, faces up to 20 years in prison for making terror threats on the social networking website, Russia Today reported on Friday.\n<\/p>\n<p>The boy, a senior at Methuen High School in Massachusetts, was arrested on May 2 after he posted a threat on Facebook, saying, \u00c5\u201cYa&#8217;ll want me to\u2026kill somebody?&#8230; A Boston bombing wait till you see the [expletive] I do. \u2026I beat every murder charge that comes across me.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>On April 15, two bomb explosions near the finish line of the Boston Marathon killed three people and injured more than 250 others.\n<\/p>\n<p>Following Cameron\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s arrest, Methuen Police Chief Joe Solomon issued a statement saying, \u00c5\u201cWe took this very seriously\u2026 The threat was disturbing enough for us to act and I think our officers did the right thing.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>Solomon, however, added that Cameron did not make specific threat against any particular group or individuals including the school officials.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00c5\u201cI do want to make clear he did not make a specific threat against the school or any particular individuals but he did threaten to kill a bunch of people and specifically mentioned the Boston Marathon and the White House.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>The Center for Rights and Fight for the Future established a support page for the high school student earlier this week.\n<\/p>\n<p>The supporters wrote on the page that \u00c5\u201ca kid is in prison. Away from his family.
