The White House has announced the resignation of Deputy national security adviser Nadia Schadlow, the third senior official to leave President Donald Trump\u2019s team following John Bolton\u2019s appointment as national security adviser.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe administration thanks Dr. Schadlow for her service and leadership in crafting the president’s ‘America First’ national security agenda strategy,\u201d<\/em> deputy White House press secretary Raj Shah said in a statement on Wednesday. \u201cThe strategy has set a strong foundation going forward for protecting the homeland, promoting American prosperity, preserving peace through strength and advancing American influence.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n Schadlow is believed to be close to former national security adviser H.R. McMaster. Bossert\u2019s resignation came shortly after his after his appearance on ABC\u2019s \u2018This Week\u2019 on Sunday, where he questioned the \u201ctiming\u201d<\/em> of Saturday\u2019s alleged chemical incident in Syria. It remained unclear whether Bossert\u2019s resignation was connected somehow with the critical comments he made.<\/p>\n Nadia Schadlow is the 23rd Assistant to the President to depart the Trump Administration.
