On Thursday morning, CNN\u2019s New Day<\/em> show ran a full report on the recent cases of two school teachers \u2014 one from California and one from Virginia \u2014 who accidentally fired their weapons inside school buildings as the report hyped the incidents as \u201cshocking reminders of the danger\u201d of arming teachers. The report even included the soundbite of a parent who had been leaning toward supporting arming teachers but who was having reservations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

And, like yesterday\u2019s evening shows<\/a> on CBS and NBC, and CNN\u2019s Early Start<\/em> show, New Day<\/em> included no examples of guns being used in a beneficial way in its reporting on the subject.<\/p>\n
