Labour\u2019s newly elected women\u2019s officer, who was born a man, has denied tweeting jokes about rape, Jimmy Savile and blowjobs before she began identifying as a woman. A now-deleted Twitter account was flagged by critics.<\/p>\n
Lily Madigan, 19, was elected as women\u2019s officer in Rochester and Strood, Kent, after she accused her predecessor Anne Ruzylo, 52, of transphobic views and demanded her removal. She was then elected to the role with a four-vote majority when around 85 members took to the ballot box.<\/p>\n
Madigan has now been linked to a Twitter page under her previous name, \u201cLiam.\u201d<\/em> Social media searches have revealed disgusting posts and references to rapists from pages allegedly run by Madigan.<\/p>\n On a post for \u201cLiam Madigan\u201d<\/em> there are links to \u2018rape\u2019 websites and references to serial sex offender Jimmy Savile. Madigan\u2019s face is the profile picture \u2013 when she was a man \u2013 making a rude sexual gesture.<\/p>\n Now named Lily, the officer insists it was a \u201cfake account under prior name set up to tease\u201d<\/em> her.<\/p>\n Fake account under prior name set up to tease me obviously hasn\u2019t been run by me in any capacity.
