Schultz didn\u2019t pull any punches, calling the Congressional investigation \u201cdisgraceful\u201d and \u201cunprofessional.\u201d <\/p>\n<div>\n<p>On Wednesday, Schultz ended his daily news show <em>\u201cThe News With Ed Schultz,\u201d<\/em> with a response to the Senate Intelligence Committee, and its ranking member Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California), who is leading the charge into an investigation focusing on Russian meddling in the 2016 election.<\/p>\n<div class=\"arcticle__read-more read-more\">\n<p>Read more<\/p>\n<p>    <a class=\"read-more__link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rt.com\/usa\/408516-senate-twitter-facebook-google-russia\/\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n                    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"read-more__cover\" src=\"https:\/\/cdni.rt.com\/files\/2017.11\/thumbnail\/59f9ffe2fc7e935d558b4567.jpg\" alt=\"Colin Stretch of Facebook, Sean Edgett of Twitter and Richard Salgado of Google, testify before Senate Intelligence Committee in Washington, U.S., November 1, 2017 \u00a9 Joshua Roberts\"\/><br \/>\n    <\/a>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>\u201cI want to comment on the last two days of the Senate and House hearings on Capitol Hill focused on social media and the accusations cast about this network, RT America,\u201d<\/em> Schultz said.<\/p>\n<p>The anchor elaborated, and called accusations leveled by the Senate Intelligence Committee <em>\u201cdisgraceful.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are not propaganda, and we do not take orders from any government entity involving content on RT America,&#8221;<\/em> Schultz said. <em>&#8220;Furthermore, none of the journalists that work at this network have anything to do with any advertising campaign on any social network platform.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Schultz noted that the House and Senate looking into the alleged meddling have not called on him or any other employee of RT America in to testify to Congress, after they accused the network of aiding Russia in election interference.<\/p>\n<p>Schultz stated that this decision <em>\u201cspeaks volumes\u201d<\/em> about the agenda of the House and Senate committees, and the excuses they continue to make based on the outcome of the last presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>The anchor also pointed to the United States\u2019 history of election meddling in other countries, and cited a commercial cut by former President Barack Obama in France to support then-French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron, ahead of France\u2019s election. In the commercial Obama is seen instructing the people of France how to vote.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"media__youtube-frame\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300px\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/D3gYk9hXxn8\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Schultz wasn\u2019t done, though. He proceeded to call out Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) for her leading role in the election interference investigation.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe Senate Intelligence Committee, that&#8217;s what they&#8217;re called? Really?
