Footage captured on a passenger\u2019s smartphone shows terrified commuters diving for cover. <\/p>\n<div class=\"article__text text  js-mediator-article\">\n<p>The video, taken by a passenger sitting towards the back of the bus, shows people screaming and ducking for cover as the firework bounces off the walls and ceiling, sending sparks flying.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/e9hKXIiaAl8\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Steve Burton, TfL director of enforcement, said: <em>\u201cThis idiotic behavior is extremely dangerous and will not be tolerated.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are working with Metropolitan Police to ensure appropriate action is taken.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>No one was injured in the incident, which happened on York Way in King\u2019s Cross last Saturday evening, according to the London Ambulance Service.<\/p>\n<div class=\"arcticle__read-more read-more\">\n<p>Read more<\/p>\n<p>    <a class=\"read-more__link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rt.com\/uk\/401439-fireworks-explosion-pizza-takeaway\/\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n                    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"read-more__cover\" src=\"https:\/\/cdni.rt.com\/files\/2017.08\/thumbnail\/59a6ae84fc7e9339038b4569.png\" alt=\"\u00a9 Hello pizza\"\/><br \/>\n    <\/a>\n<\/div>\n<p>Once the firework had fizzled out, the video shows two young men jumping off the bus to chase down the perpetrators.<\/p>\n<p>One man is heard yelling:<em> \u201cWhat the f***? I swear to God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Passenger Apostolos Filis told ITV News:<em> \u201cIt was really sudden. No one was expecting the attack. They started attacking cars and bikes but then went on attacking the bus.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Met police said the <em>\u201canti-social behavior\u201d<\/em> is being investigated by officers from Islington policing patrols.<\/p>\n<p>It comes after terrifying footage emerged of a similar event in August which saw a hooded man setting off a box of 70 fireworks at the Hello Pizza takeaway in Kirkdale, Liverpool.<\/p>\n<p>The workers were forced to throw themselves over the counter and take cover at the back of the shop.<\/p>\n<p>The fireworks then engulfed the takeaway shop with smoke, at one point obscuring the view of the CCTV camera.<\/p>\n<p>The incident caused damage to the shop but none of the employees were injured.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/uk\/407301-firework-london-bus-explosion\/?utm_source=rss&#038;utm_medium=rss&#038;utm_campaign=RSS\">RT<\/a>.
