Infectious disease expert makes \u2018joke\u2019 suggestion to eliminate vaccine refusniks<\/p>\n

An infectious diseases expert \u2018joked\u2019 that a good way to eliminate vaccine refusniks, who overwhelming tend to be white people, is to simply \u201cget rid of all the whites in the United States\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The comments were made by Carol J Baker, M.D. at a May 2016 event in Atlanta, Georgia but are only just beginning to receive attention.<\/p>\n

Baker, who is a Pediatrics-Infectious Disease Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, told a National Meningitis Association panel discussion that a \u201csolution\u201d to the large numbers of white people who refuse to let their children be given vaccines is to \u201cget rid\u201d of white people.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re talking about the minority [of vaccine refusers], and strategies against the minority,\u201d said Baker. \u201cSo I have the solution: Every study published in the last five years, you look at vaccine refusers, I\u2019m not talking about people we can talk them into coming to terms, but refusers.\u00a0Let\u2019s just get rid of all the whites in the United States<\/strong>, because Houston is the most diverse city in the entire United States.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baker went on to note how she as a white person was \u201cin the [racial] minority for more than 20 years in the city of Houston,\u201d adding that immigrants are superior because they take their vaccines.<\/p>\n

\u201cGuess who wants to get vaccinated the most in Houston? Immigrants!\u201d said Baker before going on to assert that there should be a \u201cwar\u201d that is \u201cfought one on one, with individual families\u201d to make their children take vaccines.<\/p>\n

We can only assume that Baker was making a crass joke (few seemed to…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
