Meanwhile, Trump supporters staged counter rallies to support his 2020 re-election bid.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article__text text  js-mediator-article\">\n<p>The protests were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.impeachmentmarch.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">organized <\/a>by the impeachmentmarch.org group, which says Trump <em>\u201chas been in blatant violation of the Constitution from the day he was sworn into the office of President.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"900\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0VfKiVdP45I\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe believe president Trump has committed constitutional breaches, consistently lied, cheated, and enforces laws that primarily benefit him and his billionaire friends at the expense of the country. Join on July 2nd!\u201d<\/em>\u00a0the group said.<\/p>\n<p>Massive crowds gathered in downtown Los Angeles, calling on lawmakers to impeach the president, local media\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/losangeles.cbslocal.com\/2017\/07\/02\/trump-impeachment-march-la\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"rtcode\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Allen Levinson of Redondo Beach said his huge banner took 40 hours to make: &#8220;It cuts to the heart of his personal insecurities and fears.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rFrEEvSmYt\">pic.twitter.com\/rFrEEvSmYt<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Laura J. He is wrecking, it\u2019s like he is a bad person for the world, and I feel horrified about that,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0an LA protester told the Ruptly agency.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, a counter rally supporting Trump and his 2020 presidential bid was held in LA, with the demonstrators carrying banners, saying <em>\u201cMake America Great Again\u201d <\/em>and<em> \u201cWe won.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/viral\/395095-twitter-baffled-after-trump-cnn-tweet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">READ MORE: Twitter baffled after Trump CNN smackdown tweet<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Trump supporter at the rally told local media that the president should improve his social media skills.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI think the Twitter thing could probably slow down a little bit,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he said, noting\u00a0<em>\u201cbut that\u2019s Donald Trump. He\u2019s been the same way for exactly 40 years.
