It includes more than 8,000 documents as part of \u2018Vault 7\u2019, a series of leaks on the agency, which have allegedly emerged from the CIA\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/wikileaks.org\/ciav7p1\/files\/org-chart.png\">Center For Cyber Intelligence in Langley<\/a>, and which can be seen on the org <a href=\"https:\/\/wikileaks.org\/ciav7p1\/files\/org-chart.png\">chart below, which Wikileaks also released<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/user5\/imageroot\/2017\/03\/06\/Org%20chart%20CIA.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/user5\/imageroot\/2017\/03\/06\/Org%20chart%20CIA_0.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/wikileaks.org\/ciav7p1\/cms\/index.html\">total of 8,761 documents have been published <\/a>as part of \u2018Year Zero\u2019, the first in a series of leaks the whistleblower organization has dubbed \u2018Vault 7.\u2019 WikiLeaks said that \u2018Year Zero\u2019 revealed details of the CIA\u2019s \u201cglobal covert hacking program,\u201d including \u201cweaponized exploits\u201d used against company products including \u201c<em>Apple\u2019s iPhone, Google\u2019s Android and Microsoft\u2019s Windows and even Samsung TVs, which are turned into covert microphones<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WikiLeaks tweeted the leak, which it claims came from a network inside the CIA\u2019s Center for Cyber Intelligence in Langley, Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>Among the more notable disclosures which, if confirmed, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2017\/03\/07\/world\/europe\/wikileaks-cia-hacking.html?smid=tw-nytimes&amp;smtyp=cur&amp;_r=0\">would rock the technology world<\/a>\u201c, the CIA had managed to bypass encryption on popular phone and messaging services such as <strong>Signal, WhatsApp and Telegram. <\/strong>According to the statement from WikiLeaks, government hackers can penetrate Android phones and collect \u201c<strong>audio and message traffic before encryption is applied.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another profound revelation is that the CIA can engage in \u201cfalse flag\u201d cyberattacks which portray Russia as the assailant.
