MICHAEL HUDSON: Good to be here.<\/p>\n

SHARMINI PERIES: So, Michael, that first, I think it\u2019s the third or fourth paragraph in, where he really talks about the establishment, how it benefitted Washington, I would think you would have objection to that.<\/em><\/p>\n

MICHAEL HUDSON: Well, the establishment Trump\u00a0talked about wasn\u2019t really Wall Street. He said, \u201cWhen Washington got rich.\u201d Bernie Sanders would have said, \u201cWhen Wall Street got rich, the country didn\u2019t.\u201d So I think when Donald Trump says \u201cWashington,\u201d what he means is the government regulatory agencies. He\u2019s going to cut them back. And what he means is that the IRS, the tax collectors, he\u2019s going to cut them back by cutting taxes on all the Americans, meaning all of the 1% that are his<\/em> Americans.<\/p>\n
