And they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think there was a conspiracy on the part of the Russians and others to help him get elected,\u201d Lewis said. \u201cThat\u2019s not right. That\u2019s not fair. That\u2019s not the open democratic process.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lewis, who has served in the US House of Representatives for 30 years, said he is among several Democratic lawmakers who plan to boycott Trump\u2019s presidential inauguration on January 20.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t plan to attend the inauguration.
