Around seven of the plots and attacks are thought to have been linked to Islamic State.<\/p>\n<p>Germany appears to have become a target of Islamist aggression since the beginning of the migrant crisis in the summer of 2015, with many <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/london\/2016\/12\/20\/afd-hits-merkel-christmas-market-attack-dead\/\">blaming<\/a> Chancellor Angela Merkel\u2019s opened border mass migration policy.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/national-security\/2015\/05\/01\/german-police-thwart-boston-style-terrorist-plot-to-bomb-bicycle-race\/\" target=\"_blank\">April 2015<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the migrant crisis brewed, police foiled an Islamic State attack planned by two German citizens of Turkish descent. The men were aged 34 and 35.<\/p>\n<p>The men were thought to be plotting a Boston-style attack on the Eschborn-Frankfurt City loop bike race in Oberursel, and police found bomb-making materials in their home near the race route.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/london\/2015\/09\/18\/convicted-terrorist-stabs-police-woman-human-rights-had-prevented-deportation\/\" target=\"_blank\">September 2015<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the migrant crisis reached a late summer peak, an Iraqi citizen and convicted terrorist who was claiming asylum in Germany was shot dead after stabbing a female police officer in the neck.<\/p>\n<p>Rafik Mohamad Yousef, 41, was a member of a terrorist group with links to al-Qaeda, but claimed his \u201chuman rights\u201d would be violated if he were sent back to Iraq.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/london\/2016\/02\/04\/german-police-arrest-islamic-state-suspects-who-lived-in-refugee-shelters\/\" target=\"_blank\">February 2016<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three Algerians who were said to have \u201clived in refugee shelters\u201d and had&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/redice.tv\/news\/timeline-germany-s-two-years-of-islamist-terror-and-migrant-crisis\">Read more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week, Germany experienced its worst terror atrocity since the 1980s, following 21 months of Islamist suicide bombings, shootings, axe attacks, and now a truck rampage.
