Dr. Ron Paul may no longer be a congressman, but he still understands the core problems facing the United States of America.<\/p>\n

Despite President Obama\u2019s promises for a better, more prosperous future for our country, as with his previous State of the Union addresses, it was light on substance and heavy on the rhetoric.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re one of those who feel that hope and change has turned to despair and more of the same, you\u2019re not alone.<\/p>\n

Ron Paul is right there with you.<\/p>\n

\n

I didn\u2019t come out of that very optimistic. It was rather depressing.<\/p>\n

\u2026<\/p>\n

It was terrible. It\u2019s like a circus\u2026<\/p>\n

The jumping up and down and the ritual they go through\u2026 it sounds like the world\u2019s been saved. If you had walked in, just being on that floor, it would be so distorted. But that\u2019s about the way Washington is. It\u2019s so distorted. They live in their own little bubble and they don\u2019t know that there\u2019s anybody like you who might have questions about what\u2019s going on in this country.<\/p>\n

And, certainly, we didn\u2019t get any answers tonight.<\/p>\n

\u2026<\/p>\n

The truth is, after listening to a speech like that, we should be convinced that this spending isn\u2019t going to quit before we have a calamity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s what I think is going to happen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But that doesn\u2019t mean we should stop trying to change people\u2019s minds.<\/p>\n

But, to think that next year or two years from now we\u2019re going to have more members of Congress and we\u2019re finally going to come to our senses and we\u2019re going to vote against some of this\u00a0largess for all the special interests, and that we\u2019re going to bring our troops home,\u00a0and they\u2019re going to repeal and restrain the President from assassinating American citizens \u2014 his so called right to do that \u2014 that\u2019s not going to happen<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There\u2019s going to be a serious problem \u2014 economic and a crisis here\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think it\u2019s inevitable\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After 35 years in Congress, Ron Paul says that it all got worse \u2014 spending always went up, government got bigger, more wars, more printing of money, more power the to The Fed, and more central economic planning.<\/p>\n

Now, after decades of government interference, we will, as a nation, experience the blow back.<\/p>\n

A three year old with a pocket calculator<\/a> can figure out we\u2019ve got a one way ticket to collapse<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At this point, there is no fixing it.<\/p>\n

Nature will take its course and the economic, financial, and political free markets will soon correct the imbalance<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As Dr. Paul warns, it\u2019s inevitable.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
