What about Hillary\u2019s major corporate donors like GE for example, that have been working the loopholes in our tax system for decades? Does anyone care that Hillary has been taking money from\u00a0some of America\u2019s biggest corporate tax dodgers for several years?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bernie Sanders recently outed the 10 biggest multinational corporations that <a href=\"https:\/\/berniesanders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/List10CorporateDodgers.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">paid no federal taxes<\/a> for at least one year between 2008 and 2012. Sanders has made reining in corporate tax dodgers a key point of his presidential platform. In a recent press release, the Sanders campaign laid out the Vermont senator\u2019s plans to force multinational corporations to pay their fair share in taxes:<\/p>\n<p>As it turns out, all ten of those same companies are some of Hillary Clinton\u2019s biggest donors, whether to her campaign or to her family foundation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. GENERAL ELECTRIC<\/strong><br \/>According to data from the nonpartisan group Citizens for Tax Justice (CTJ), GE posted $33.9 billion in U.S. profits, yet somehow got $2.9 billion in refunds in that same time period. According to the book Clinton Cash, then-Secretary of State Clinton lobbied the Algerian government for a GE power plant contract. After Algeria awarded the contract to GE, Jeffrey Immelt \u2014 CEO of GE \u2014 gave a donation to the Clinton Foundation. Sanders also pointed out that while Immelt sat on the board of the New York Federal Reserve, the Fed gave GE $16 billion in financial assistance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.
