Defense Minister Survives Mortar Attack; 126 Killed in Iraq<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Defense Minister Khalid al-Obeidi<\/b> survived<\/a> a mortar
\nattack while traveling near Imam Gharbi village in northern Iraq. The minister
\nwas traveling in a bulletproof vehicle and no casualties were reported.
\nBodyguards fired back at the militants. He was visiting the Nineveh Operation
\nCenter near Makhmour to meet with officials.<\/p>\n

Four F-16s<\/b> were delivered<\/a>
\nto Iraq, bringing the total of 36 promised aircraft to eight planes so far. <\/p>\n

At least 126 people were killed and 26 more wounded<\/b>:<\/p>\n

Qayara<\/b> officials said that about 20 people have died<\/a>
\nwhile in custody of Daesh. It is unclear how the victims died, but the
\nmilitants are holding thousands of people as human shields, threatening to kill
