\u201cPlease, tell the world what she\u2019s really like,\u201d implored Patricia Smith when recounting Hillary Clinton\u2019s aggressive on-air denial of the facts of their private conversation about the death of her son, Sean Smith, in the 2012 attack on the US embassy in Libya.<\/p>\n
The interview comes on the heels of a new report compiled by House Republicans that accuses the Obama administration of deliberately responding to the assault slowly \u2013 for political gain. It also adds to the evidence against Hillary Clinton, who as then-Secretary of State flatly denied telling any of the victims\u2019 families about the video\u00a0Innocence of Muslims<\/em>, which emerged online shortly prior to the terrifying attack and was later presented by the Obama administration as the suspected motivating factor behind it.<\/p>\n Clinton met with the families of the four victims three days after the tragedy. The meeting also involved President Obama and other officials. It is being alleged that Clinton knew she was providing the families with false information about the attack and its causes, which included the provocative low-grade\u00a0Innocence of Muslims<\/em>.<\/p>\n Since the meeting was held behind closed doors, all of the participants have their own version of what was said, but Hillary\u2019s later insistence that she hadn\u2019t blamed the attack on the tape is overwhelmingly in the minority.<\/p>\n \u201cHillary Clinton is a liar. Hillary Clinton has been a liar all along, and I don\u2019t care what she wants to move on from \u2013 she has never answered the question of why is my son dead. Why was he even there? She says she testified for hours \u2013 eight or 11 hours or something\u2026 But nobody gave me any answers. I don\u2019t know what this is all about. All I know is my son asked for help many, many times. I underline the many. Nobody helped.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n She mentions how her son had told her that he knew he was going to die, and how suspicious men had been taking pictures of the embassy compound just hours before the attack \u2013 including photos of the diesel drums that the attackers later used to set the building alight.<\/p>\n However, most of all, she is in complete disbelief that Clinton outright denied on national television that she had said what Smith and others at their meeting heard her say \u2013 particularly with regard to the video in question.\u00a0Innocence of Muslims<\/em> was uploaded in July 2012 and led to a series of protests and attacks on US diplomatic missions across the world by Muslims who considered it blasphemous.<\/p>\n \u201cI know a few things could\u2019ve been done to prevent it. But nobody\u2019s admitting to anything. Right now, my understanding is Hillary didn\u2019t do a damn thing. And I wonder what she did as Secretary of State, because she disavows everything. She disavows the fact that she even got any call for security… If this is her Department, she certainly doesn\u2019t know how to run the Department. And she lied the whole time. She lied to me and called me a liar on TV,\u201d<\/em> Smith continues.<\/p>\n \u201cShe told me it was the fault of the video\u2026 And later when I mentioned that, she said she never said anything like that to me. How can a woman be this way!<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cShe said \u2018One of us is a liar, and it wasn\u2019t me,\u2019\u201d<\/em> Smith recalls Hillary saying on air later.<\/p>\n \u201cI am not a liar! I know what Hillary told me! In fact\u2026 I\u2019ve spoken to quite a few different people \u2013 Hillary and Obama, Panetta, Susan Rice, and several others\u2026 every one of them told me it was the fault of the video, including Obama \u2013 and he denies it! <\/em><\/p>\n \u201cPlease, tell the world.
