At Huffington Post, Arianna Huffington is the top person, and her site is so blatantly hostile to the Republican Party as to have placed Donald Trump \u2014 that Party\u2019s only skilled Presidential candidate in a field of over a dozen Republican Presidential candidates \u2014 into its Entertainment Section<\/span><\/a>, rather than its Politics Section, when he announced for the U.S. Presidency. However, after the absurdity of that decision on her part became apparent from the political polling, Trump was quietly transferred<\/span><\/a> to \u201cPolitics.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After Trump won the nomination, HuffPo\u2019s news-reporting \u2014 which had previously been honest about Hillary Clinton and exposed her in its news-reports as being anything but<\/i> a progressive \u2014 suddenly committed itself to making her President; and, so, on Sunday 8 May 2016, HuffPo placed atop their home page a\u00a0huge banner headline, \u201cTHE CLOSET PROGRESSIVE\u201d, with a photo of Hillary Clinton immediately below it.<\/span><\/a> (As Bloomberg had headlined 12 days earlier, on 26 April 2016, \u201cClinton\u2019s Next Campaign Is Bringing Sanders\u2019 Voters Into Her Coalition\u201d<\/span><\/a>, and, now, Huffington is doing what Democratic Party strategists want done. That explains her lying banner-headline on May 8th.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior<\/i> to Trump\u2019s Republican victory, HuffPo had run honest<\/i> reporting about Hillary, such as:<\/span><\/p>\n

“The Real Conservatism Of The\u00a0\u2018Liberal Establishment\u2019\u201d<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

There was even an article that I had done,\u00a0“Hillary Clinton\u00a0Backs Fast-Track on\u00a0Obama\u2019s Trade\u00a0Deals\u201d<\/span><\/a>, which exposed the duplicitousness of Clinton about those deals, by documenting that Hillary was publicly advising Democrats in Congress to follow Nancy Pelosi\u2019s lead on that matter, when Pelosi\u2019s lead was the exact opposite in private with her fellow-Representatives in the U.S. House, than it was in Pelosi\u2019s public statements (which were against<\/i> Obama\u2019s trade-deals): Pelosi was saying in public<\/i> that the trade-deals are bad and that Democrats should therefore vote against Fast Track, but at the same time Pelosi was doing everything possible in private<\/i> with House Democrats, so as to get enough Democrats to vote for<\/i> Fast Track, so that Obama would be able to get those trade-deals passed into law (as he likely will<\/i> now, on his TPP, between the November 8th Election and the January 20th inauguration \u2014 and it\u2019s NAFTA on steroids). Hillary succeeded; Pelosi succeeded; they made it possible<\/i> for Obama to get his trade-deals passed into law. This was duplicity on both<\/i> their parts, and Hillary Clinton\u2019s part in this was that of anything but\u00a0\u201cTHE CLOSET PROGRESSIVE\u201d<\/span><\/a>\u00a0such as Arianna Huffington\u2019s operation is now claiming<\/i> that Clinton is. The May 8th lead story<\/span><\/a> (reciting Clinton\u2019s lies, as if they were instead her actual record) was published at HuffPo just for deceiving voters (especially<\/i> Bernie Sanders\u2019s voters), so as to defeat the Republican nominee. \u2018News\u2019 for deception, is not news for information. But in a dictatorship<\/span><\/a>, it\u2019s common. It\u2019s how the aristocracy controls the public. (Remember all that \u2018news\u2019 in 2002 about \u201cSaddam\u2019s WMD\u201d<\/span><\/a>? The \u2018news\u2019 media haven\u2019t changed the way they operate. Once a President is ensconced in office, it\u2019s \u201crally around the flag,\u201d which is really<\/i> rally around the aristocracy. And that\u2019s how wars, even totally unjustified invasions, get done.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Back on 16 August 2013, my article-submission exposing Hillary was accepted by HuffPo\u2019s editors, titled\u00a0“Hillary Clinton\u2019s Two Foreign-Policy\u00a0Catastrophes\u201d<\/span><\/a>, but, when I subsequently submitted a HuffPo exclusive report, in February 2016, updating that article, now much closer to the actual election,\u00a0\u201cHillary Clinton\u2019s Six Foreign-Policy Catastrophes\u201d<\/span><\/a>, it was rejected, and so I sent it out then for general distribution to all news-media. But, even<\/i> as a general-distribution article, HuffPo now wouldn\u2019t publish such a devastating expos\u00e9 of former Secretary of State Clinton\u2019s combined demonstrated-there evil and incompetence \u2014 both of which make undeniably clear that she\u2019s actually the exact opposite<\/i> of a \u201cprogressive,\u201d far less \u201cTHE CLOSET PROGRESSIVE\u201d<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Consequently, it\u2019s one thing to expose a Democratic Party politician as a conservative or a corrupt operator when it\u2019s being done in an off-year; but, as soon as the two Parties have virtually settled upon whom their respective nominees are going to be, the rally-round-the-flag operation at Huffington Post isn\u2019t really a rally around the American flag; it\u2019s instead a rally around the Democratic Party flag-bearer<\/i>, no matter how disgusting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Does this differ, in principle, from Fox News, on the Republican side?<\/span><\/p>\n

The end-result is that the U.S. Establishment, or it might be called the \u201caristocracy,\u201d or this nation\u2019s\u00a0\u201coligarchy\u201d<\/span><\/a>, controls both<\/i> of the two political Parties, and thus wins, no matter what the nominal<\/i> \u201cParty\u201d happens to be. And, an \u201caristocracy\u201d or \u201coligarchy\u201d is the exact opposite<\/i> of a democracy; it\u2019s a dictatorship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Something\u2019s profoundly wrong with the American press \u2014 of all sorts. All of it is owned by, and funded by advertisements in and donations from, the U.S. billionaires and centi-millionaires, the people who make the real<\/i> decisions that control this country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Arianna Huffington is cited here as merely one, and a very typical, example of this pervasive rot in the U.S. \u2018news\u2019 media. It applies throughout both the Democratic and the Republican Parties. Nothing personal is intended here: this rot is pervasive \u2014 it is systemic<\/i>, not merely<\/i> personal.<\/span><\/p>\n

And, so, I am now sending this article about it, out for general distribution, to all of them. I don\u2019t expect to find it published in many places. (Just google the phrase \u2014 in quotes, of course \u2014 \u201cArianna Huffington as Agent for the Democratic Party\u201d, to find out where it was published.)<\/span><\/p>\n
