According to Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten (German Economic News), on April 23rd<\/a><\/span>, U.S. President Barack Obama is \u201cdemanding the active deployment of the Bundeswehr [Germany\u2019s armed forces, including their Army, Navy, and Air Force] to NATO\u2019s eastern borders\u201d at Poland and the Baltic republics, to join the quadrupling of America\u2019s forces there, on and near those borders of Russia. (This is\u00a0an extreme violation of what Russian leader Mikhail Gorbachev agreed to when he ended the Soviet Union and its NATO-mirror organization the Warsaw Pact, but it\u2019s actually culminating a process that began shortly after he agreed to America\u2019s terms<\/span><\/a>, which included that NATO \u201cnot move one inch to the east.\u201d)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, DWN reports that on April 25th, the U.S. President will hold a \u201csummit meeting\u201d in Hannover Germany with the leaders of Germany (Angela Merkel), Italy (Matteo Renzi), France (Francois Hollande), and Britain (David Cameron). The presumed objective of this meeting is to establish in NATO\u2019s countries bordering on Russia, a military force of all five countries that are headed by these leaders, a force threatening Russia with an invasion, if NATO subsequently decides that the \u2018threat from Russia\u2019 be \u2018responded to\u2019 militarily. <\/span><\/p>\n

NATO\u2019s surrounding Russia with hostile forces is supposedly defensive against Russia \u2014 not<\/i> an offensive operation. During the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, America\u2019s President JFK didn\u2019t consider Soviet dictator Nikita Khrushchev\u2019s plan to base nuclear missiles in Cuba to be \u2018defensive\u2019 on the USSR\u2019s part \u2014 and neither does Russia\u2019s President Vladimir Putin consider America\u2019s far bigger operation, of surrounding<\/i> Russia with such weapons, to be \u2018defensive\u2019 and not offensive. The U.S. Government, and NATO, act as if Russia is surrounding them, instead of them surrounding Russia \u2014 and their \u2018news\u2019 media transmit this lie as if it should be taken seriously, not as its being<\/i> a lie; but, in actual fact, NATO has already expanded right up to Russia\u2019s western borders.<\/span><\/p>\n

Obama is thus now adding to the economic sanctions against Russia that he had imposed\u00a0allegedly because of Russia\u2019s alleged \u2018seizure\u2019 of Crimea<\/span><\/a>\u00a0from Ukraine after Obama\u2019s coup<\/span><\/a> overthrew Russia\u2019s ally Viktor Yanukovych who led Ukraine until the coup<\/span><\/a> in February 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n

Right after Crimeans voted overwhelmingly to rejoin Russia, Obama slapped sanctions against Russia (even though Western-sponsored polls in Crimea, both before and after the coup, had shown higher than 90% support by Crimeans for rejoining with Russia<\/span><\/a>), and nuclear weapons were prepared, both on the U.S.-EU side and on the Russian side, for a possible nuclear war.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is no mere restoration of the Cold War (which was based upon the capitalist-communist ideological disagreement); it\u2019s instead getting forces into position for a possible invasion of Russia, pure-and-simple \u2014 raw conquest \u2014 though no major news-media in the West are reporting it as being<\/i> such.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That preparation doesn\u2019t necessarily mean a nuclear war will result. Russia might accept whatever the demands of \u2018the West\u2019 are, and thus lose its national sovereignty. Otherwise, \u2018the West\u2019 (the U.S.leadership, and the leaderships in its allied countries) might quit their evermore-ominous threats, and simply withdraw from Russia\u2019s borders, if Russia stands-its-ground and refuses to yield up its national sovereignty.<\/span><\/p>\n

Basically, the U.S. leadership decided to take over Ukraine<\/span><\/a>, and refused to acknowledge the rights of the Crimean people to reject being conquered<\/span><\/a> by the U.S. \u2014 and Russia\u2019s leadership decided to protect them<\/span><\/a> against the type of invasion<\/span><\/a> that subsequently occurred in Ukraine\u2019s former Donbass region<\/span><\/a>, where the opposition to Obama\u2019s coup was even more intense.<\/span><\/p>\n

Supposedly, \u2018the West\u2019 is asserting that Russia is somehow<\/span><\/a> in the wrong here; but, since even the head of Stratfor has called what Obama did in Ukraine\u00a0\u201cthe most blatant coup in history\u201d<\/span><\/a>, and since the fact that it was a U.S. coup has been documented extensively\u00a0on cellphone and other videos<\/span><\/a>, and in the most thorough academic investigation that has been performed of the matter<\/span><\/a> \u2014 and\u00a0was even acknowledged by Ukraine\u2019s Petro Poroshenko, a participant in the coup, to have been<\/i> a coup<\/span><\/a> \u2014 and since evidence survives on the Internet of the U.S. Embassy\u2019s preparations as early as 1 March 2013<\/span><\/a> for the February 2014 coup; and since\u00a0even the U.S. government\u2019s hired polls showed that Crimeans rejected overwhelmingly the U.S. coup and supported rejoining Russia<\/span><\/a>; the question still needs to be answered: What basis of \u2018the West\u2019s\u2019 aggressive actions threatening Russia\u2019s national security is there, other than<\/i> such lies by the West, against Russia\u2019s President? And, that\u2019s a very worrisome basis \u2014 worrisome regarding, essentially, dictatorship<\/span><\/a> in \u2018the West\u2019, rather than regarding any<\/i> dictatorship outside<\/i> \u2018the West\u2019. The dictatorship here seems clearly to be coming from the West, against<\/i> the East.<\/span><\/p>\n

Back in January, Russian President Vladimir Putin\u00a0called-out American President Barack Obama on Obama\u2019s big lie<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0that America\u2019s \u201cABM\u201d weapons to disable in-flight nuclear missiles were being installed in Europe in order to protect Europe against Iranian<\/i> nuclear missiles, but now the U.S. acknowledges that Iran doesn\u2019t have, and won\u2019t have, any nuclear missiles, and yet Obama is stepping up (instead of ending<\/i>) those ABM installations \u2014 even though the alleged anti-Iranian reason for them is gone<\/i>. The only actual<\/i> reason they have been installed, Putin argues, is in order to enable a blitz nuclear attack against Russia, which will include disabling Russia\u2019s retaliatory capacity<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Any in-depth news-report about Obama\u2019s organizing for a possible invasion of Russia, needs to deal, therefore, with the key question: What basis of \u2018the West\u2019s\u2019 aggressive actions threatening Russia\u2019s national security is there, other than<\/i> such lies by \u2018the West\u2019? And, if there is no honest answer to it, then the only rational response<\/i> by Western publics, to what Obama and his foreign allies are doing<\/span><\/a>, is to recognize what is actually happening and to take action against their own leaders, before this increasingly high-stakes confrontation<\/span><\/a> \u2014 of no benefit but only extremely high costs, to publics around the world \u2014 becomes terminal.\u00a0In that instance, Western publics need to defend themselves against their own nation\u2019s leaders. This is a situation that is frequently encountered in dictatorships.<\/span><\/p>\n

The key questions are not being asked in the Western press; they are being ignored by it. Unless these questions are publicly dealt with \u2014 and soon \u2014 the answer, to them all, could well be<\/i> terminal. Consequently, any \u2018news\u2019 medium that fails to address them is less than worthless; it is sheer propaganda that merely parades in the mask of being a \u2018news medium\u2019: the potentially terminal questions are then being ignored, and lies are promoted instead, which distract the public from the most urgent public-affairs issue of them all, in our era, not draw the public\u2019s attention to that overriding international-affairs issue.<\/span><\/p>\n

The closer that things are getting to a nuclear war, the more difficult becomes either side\u2019s backing down from it \u2014 and this is especially the case with the aggressor (most especially when it falsely claims that it is being aggressed-against<\/i>, and this is the reason why the lies urgently need to be exposed).<\/span><\/p>\n
