David Cameron, the British prime minister in the middle of the #PanamaPapers tax evasion scandal, was briefly up for auction on eBay by a hilarious seller this week.<\/p>\n

Listed in the \u2018statues and ornaments\u2019<\/em> section, \u201cDavid Cameron\u201d<\/em> had a \u2018Buy Now\u2019<\/em> price of \u00a365,900 (US$94,000) before the ad was removed from the site Tuesday.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a steep cost for a \u201cused\u201d<\/em> item described as being sold \u201cfor parts or not working\u201d<\/em> and \u201cno longer needed.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the PM will not come with a box or instructions as the seller \u201cis not prepared to touch\u201d<\/em> the product.<\/p>\n

All proceeds for the sale will go towards \u201cMr Ethical\u2019s campaign to expose massive HSBC fraud and Cameron\u2019s cover-up.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Mr Ethical aka Nicholas Wilson, who posted the ad, is a whistleblower and corruption campaigner who revealed HSBC\u2019s \u00a31-billion fraud.<\/p>\n

The eBay auction was the latest blow for Cameron, who is facing calls to resign after the leaked Panama Papers revealed his family history of tax evasion and offshore accounting.<\/p>\n

A petition<\/a>\u00a0calling for his resignation has reached 144,045 signatures, more than the 100,000 minimum required for Parliament to debate the issue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
