{"id":236578,"date":"2016-04-07T19:48:33","date_gmt":"2016-04-07T19:48:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/?p=236578"},"modified":"2016-04-07T21:51:22","modified_gmt":"2016-04-07T21:51:22","slug":"vilest-republicans-come-love-hillary-clinton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/latest-news\/vilest-republicans-come-love-hillary-clinton\/","title":{"rendered":"Why the Vilest Republicans Have Come to Love Hillary Clinton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Eric Zuesse<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The 1964 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.factcheck.org\/2008\/03\/hillary-worked-for-goldwater\/\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cGoldwater Girl\u201d<\/span><\/a> Hillary Rodham (Clinton) is now viewed as a possible savior by the same Republicans that loathed her husband: she\u2019s enough of a \u201cneo-conservative\u201d to make lots of them want her to become the next U.S. President.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After Bill Krystol\u2019s friend, Robert Kagan (both men were the \u201cProject for a New American Century\u201d top propagandists for the U.S. to invade Iraq in 2003) praised Hillary Clinton in a <i>Washington Post<\/i> op-ed, the journalist Robert Parry\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/consortiumnews.com\/2016\/02\/25\/neocon-kagan-endorses-hillary-clinton\/\"><span class=\"s3\">noted<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that this endorsement was based on her solid neo-conservative record, especially because &#8220;she has backed coups, such as in Honduras (2009) and\u00a0Ukraine (2014); invasions, such as Iraq (2003) and Libya\u00a0(2011); and subversions such as Syria (from 2011 to the\u00a0present) all with various degrees of disastrous results,\u201d and therefore she carries on superbly the neo-conservative tradition, which they represent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s4\">Then, on 23 February 2016, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Newsmax_Media\"><span class=\"s5\">Republican CIA\u2019s (including Richard Mellon Scaife\u2019s) NewsMax<\/span><\/a>\u00a0headlined,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsmax.com\/Headline\/rupert-murdoch-hillary-clinton-london-for-hillary-fundraiser\/2016\/02\/23\/id\/715742\/\"><span class=\"s5\">\u201cRupert Murdoch Attending $2,700-a-Plate Fundraiser for Hillary Clinton.\u201d<\/span><\/a>\u00a0But this event wasn\u2019t really something new; on 9 May 2006, CBS News had bannered,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/rupert-murdoch-loves-hillary-clinton\/\"><span class=\"s5\">\u201cRupert Murdoch Loves Hillary Clinton.&#8221;<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">And, on 22 February 2016, I had headlined\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2016\/02\/hillary-clinton-backed-major-republican-donors.html\"><span class=\"s3\">\u201cHillary Clinton Is Backed by Major Republican Donors,\u201d<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and I noted that in terms of the Republican Party\u2019s top donors, she was above 11 of the 17 Republican Presidential candidates (which 11 included such people as Trump, Chrystie, Perry, and Huckabee), and below 6, in receiving their campaign-donations, even though she\u2019s nominally not a Republican, but a \u2018Democrat\u2019.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Then,\u00a0on March 29th, I headlined <a href=\"http:\/\/www.strategic-culture.org\/news\/2016\/03\/29\/hillary-clinton-neo-conservative-foreign-policy.html\"><span class=\"s2\">\u201cHillary Clinton\u2019s Neo-Conservative Foreign Policy\u201d<\/span><\/a> and provided (and explained) there a key email from her private server, so that readers can see for themselves just how she formulates her foreign policies \u2014 the behind-the-scenes of her coups and invasions.
