Rachel Maddow is absolutely right. They&#8217;re just playing the &#8220;how can I get a reaction&#8221; game while the rest of us are actually trying to have an adult discussion. This is characteristic of trolls: They intend to <a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fcrooksandliars.com%2Fanonymous%2Fcrosspost-nra-releases-longer-video-aimi\">disrupt and disturb rational conversations<\/a> in order to put the attention on themselves. In the case of the NRA, they&#8217;re hoping their disruption will not only slow momentum building for reasonable gun safety laws, but also focus attention on them and their stupid fearmongering about losing their guns.<\/p>\n<p>We all know how to <a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Frationalwiki.org%2Fwiki%2FDon%27t_feed_the_Troll\">treat trolls<\/a>, right? Repeat after me: We don&#8217;t feed the trolls. We don&#8217;t pay attention to the trolls, we don&#8217;t give them any attention whatsoever. We keep having our adult conversation, which even Joe Scarborough and Michael Steele are involved in, while ignoring the <a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fshark-tank.net%2F2013%2F01%2F16%2Fcongressman-radel-on-possible-presidential-impeachment-all-options-should-be-on-the-table%2F\">lunatics<\/a> over there on the sidelines <a href=\"http:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=11fe087258b6fc0532a5ccfc924805c0&#038;u=http%3A%2F%2Fgovernor.state.tx.us%2Fnews%2Fpress-release%2F18060%2F\">trolling for attention<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Alrighty then.
