Instead, a separate mystery has emerged: why has the U.S. government clammed up since five days after the tragedy?<\/p>\n<p>Immediately after the crash, senior Obama administration officials showed no hesitancy in pointing fingers at the ethnic Russian rebels who were then resisting a military offensive by the U.S.-backed Kiev regime. We know the trajectory. We know where it came from. We know the timing. And it was exactly at the time that this aircraft disappeared from the radar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Two days later, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a \u201cGovernment Assessment,\u201d also citing \u201csocial media\u201d seeming to implicate the rebels. Then, this\u00a0white paper listed military equipment allegedly supplied by Russia to the rebels.
