(RINF<\/a>) – No one paying attention to his involvement in Syria against ISIS and other terrorist groups needs convincing about Russia\u2019s formidable military capability.<\/div>\n

On Saturday, addressing a reception to mark Security Agency Worker\u2019s Day, he said in less than so many words, you ain\u2019t seen nothin yet. More on this below.<\/div>\n

He thanked and expressed admiration for attending professionals – for \u201creliably protecting Russia\u2019s sovereignty and national integrity and the lives of our citizens, who are ready to perform the most complicated, responsible and dangerous assignments.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cThese have always been the qualities that distinguished employees of Russia\u2019s security services. On this day, we invariably remember the many generations of our predecessors who served our Motherland with honor.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He called today\u2019s geopolitical situation \u201ccomplicated\u201d – notably in the Middle East and other troubled areas. \u201c(T)errorists declared war on civilization,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201c(T)heir actions pose a direct threat to\u201d Russia – why its forces \u201care fighting militants at the forward defense lines, destroying their infrastructure, their camps and bases in Syria.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He stressed the importance of rigorous efforts to expose their plans, act aggressively against them, and prevent their getting a foothold in Russia – without explaining that\u2019s precisely what Washington has in mind, including at least some of its partners in high crimes.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cOur counterintelligence service bears a great responsibility,\u201d he stressed. \u201cThis year they have exposed 320 foreign special services employees, agents and accessories.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cWe can see that the intelligence services of a number of countries are building up their \u2018work on Russia,\u2019 as we say. I am certain that our security service officers are prepared to meet this challenge.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He noted the effectiveness of Russia\u2019s anti-terrorist aerial campaign in Syria, adding: \u201cWe are not using everything we have there\u201d or can bring to the table. \u201cWe have additional means, and we will use them if necessary\u201d in an all-out effort to eliminate a common scourge.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Earlier, Putin made it very clear Russia intends continuing its war on terrorism until its objectives are accomplished – no matter how long it takes.<\/div>\n
