{"id":19251,"date":"2013-01-09T20:39:46","date_gmt":"2013-01-09T19:39:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/uk.news.yahoo.com\/york-ferry-crash-injuries-reported-143804898.html"},"modified":"2013-01-09T20:39:46","modified_gmt":"2013-01-09T19:39:46","slug":"new-york-ferry-crash-up-to-50-injured","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/rinf.com\/alt-news\/breaking-news\/new-york-ferry-crash-up-to-50-injured\/","title":{"rendered":"New York Ferry Crash Leaves Dozens Injured"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p class=\"first\">A commuter ferry has crashed into the dockside in Lower Manhattan in New York, injuring between 30 and 50 people.<\/p>\n<p>The Seastreak Ferry, which provides daily services from Atlantic Highlands in New Jersey, struck Pier 11 in the East River not far from Wall Street at about 8:45am ET (1:45pm GMT).<\/p>\n<p>Officials say at least two of the passengers were in a critical condition, one with confirmed head injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The vessel apparently had a hard landing as it was trying to dock.
