13 October 2015, is the release-date of the report from the fake investigation \u2013 by the governments of Ukraine, Netherlands, Belgium, Australia<\/span><\/a>, and later Malaysia \u2013 into who and what and why caused the shoot-down of the Malaysian MH17 Boeing airliner over the conflict-zone in Ukraine on 17 July 2014<\/span><\/a>. That\u2019s the plane which, at the last moment, was inexplicably instructed by the Ukrainian Government\u2019s Air Traffic Control to go off the normal course avoiding the Ukrainian civil war zone over the east, and to go instead right into the war-zone. The airliner got shot down with all 298 aboard dead. Obama and his coup-installed Ukrainian Government<\/span><\/a> blamed Russia immediately, and the European Union (which knew that he had actually taken Ukraine in a bloody February 2014 coup that was staged to look like a \u2018revolution\u2019<\/span><\/a>) promptly caved to Obama\u2019s demand to hike the anti-Russia sanctions that had been instituted in March 2014, when Crimea rejected Obama\u2019s Ukrainian-coup-imposed government<\/span><\/a> and held a referendum which resulted in Crimea\u2019s switching to become again a part of Russia, of which Crimea had been a part for hundreds of years until the Soviet dictator in 1954 had it transferred to Ukraine<\/span><\/a> \u2013 and so Russia is now being punished for enabling self-determination, real democracy, for the residents of Crimea.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Western government-and-\u2018news\u2019-media lying is hardly only about Ukraine. For example, look at this:<\/span><\/p>\n

Click onto that link right below the image of the video. Right at the start, you see CNN showing this alleged \u2018ISIS training video,\u2019 in which the jihadists\u2019 tents are emblazoned with \u201cUS\u201d, and yet CNN isn\u2019t drawing any conclusion that this obviously fake video implicates the U.S. Government. No: instead, at 0:18, the announcer asserts \u201cThis is the latest ISIS propaganda.\u201d Oh, really \u2013 ISIS<\/i> <\/span>is promoting the U.S.<\/i>? No, that\u2019s not what CNN is trying to convey: at 0:30 onward, you instead see military expert Anthony Cordesman calling it \u201ca stage set,\u201d \u201cand this isn\u2019t really a training exercise, it\u2019s a video exercise.\u201d Maybe he\u2019s noticed the \u201cUS\u201d on those tents? Well, that\u2019s fine, because it really is \u201ca video exercise\u201d (Cordesman\u2019s euphemism<\/i> for \u201cpropaganda\u201d), but Cordesman tactfully doesn\u2019t assert whose<\/i> propaganda this is. Instead, CNN\u2019s \u2018reporter\u2019 does that, but lies because the truth about it isn\u2019t what he\u2019s being paid to report here: At 0:50, this same CNN \u2018reporter\u2019 who had, just seconds earlier, introduced the video as constituting \u201cthe latest ISIS propaganda,\u201d concludes, again, \u201cIt\u2019s propaganda.\u201d Immediately then, he simply goes off onto a different tangent, about how dangerous ISIS is. He ignores the stupidity of his having presumed, at the very start of his \u2018report,\u2019 that it\u2019s \u201cISIS<\/i> propaganda,\u201d when it\u2019s obviously instead U.S. propaganda<\/i>. And instead of his now correcting that lie of his, he just leaves it, uncorrected. He ignores the falsehood that he had earlier stated (and headlined), and just goes off onto an anti-ISIS tangent. That\u2019s how much contempt the U.S. mainstream \u2018news\u2019 media have of their own audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

They have contempt not just for the public but for the victims of the MH17 mass-murder<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the \u2018news\u2019 media of a dictatorship<\/span><\/a>, not of a democracy. It\u2019s propaganda<\/span><\/a>, not news. It misrepresents, misdirects, misinforms, and places blame where it doesn\u2019t belong<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

And that\u2019s why Russia\u2019s leader, Vladimir Putin, discussing on October 7th, French President Francois Hollande\u2019s suggestion that Russia should cooperate with \u201cthe moderate rebel groups in Syria,\u201d or \u201cthe Free Syrian Army,\u201d made reference to<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

the so-called Free Syrian Army. However, we do not know where it is and who heads it.\u00a0But if we assume that this military wing that constitutes a so-called\u00a0healthy part of the opposition, if it were even possible to combine their efforts into the fight against the common enemy, the terrorist organizations \u2013\u00a0al-Nusra and others like them \u2013 then it would create good preconditions for further political settlement in Syria.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Perhaps he was thinking that the supposed rebel fighters who were shown in that video constitute the \u201cmoderate rebels\u201d that the West was backing, and which CNN called \u201cISIS\u201d?<\/span><\/p>\n

What can Western leaders do, except have big guffaws about how stupid their audience must be, to go for their lies?<\/span><\/p>\n
