Whereas today there are many parts of the English countryside where there are more cameras than George Orwell could ever have imagined. So the situation in some cases is far worse already,&#8221;\u00a0Joseph Cannataci told the Guardian.<\/p>\n<p>The newly-appointed UN special rapporteur on privacy also described the UK\u2019s oversight of surveillance as \u201ca bad joke\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThat is precisely one of the problems we have to tackle.
